Production Assistant
The Production Assistant supports the Production Coordinator in planning, controlling and coordinating the production activity in a logic of optimization of the resources (human, economic and technological) committed with a view to the constant improvement of OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) and within the budget.
Main activities:
- Collaborates with Production Coordinator in coordinating production staff and organizing shifts;
- Ensures the achievement of production quality and efficiency objectives, in compliance with safety standards plans and approved strategies;
- Collaborates with shift leaders on management and gives them the necessary assistance for particularly complex interventions;
- Gives support in the management of production facilities;
- Follows the training of personnel on process procedures and records forms;
- Checks the use of PPE made available and verifies that internal procedures or regulations related to safety and the environment are being followed;
- Enters final data on individual productions into the system and verifies production progress.
Requirements of the position:
- Diploma of Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical and/or Engineering degree or similar studies;
- Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
- Previous experience of 2-3 years in manufacturing and at least minimal experience at the coordination level;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, in particularly Excel;
- Interest in and good knowledge of plastics processing.
