Jr. Buyer

The Junior Buyer supports the Category Manager in managing raw material supply process, in coordination with other company functions. The purpose of the position is to ensure that production plants are supplied with raw materials according to required timelines to provide production process continuity.


Main activities:

  • Activities related to purchasing planning: scouting, commercial negotiation, continuous improvement of purchasing conditions.
  • Activities related to research new potential suppliers, worldwide.
  • Operational activities related to purchasing functions and the correct management and maintenance of data in the company management system. Preparation of reports and presentation of data to relevant business functions.
  • Daily analysis of requirements expressed by RDAs ("purchase requisitions") released by related managers.
  • Transformation of RDAs into ODA ("purchase orders") and sending them to suppliers.
  • Request, receipt, and management of order confirmations.
  • Management of reports and reminders to suppliers.

Requirements of the position:

  • Master’s degree in management engineering, Business Administration, Statistics or Supply Chain Management;
  • 0-3 years of experience;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, in particularly Excel;
  • Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
  • Residence or domicile in the territory.
